Hey guys, since im kinda new at this mod thing I'm not exactly the most knowledgeable so I'm looking for some help. I want to put rims on my ride since i think it needs it badly. I've heard mostly negatives when it comes to upsizing. Weight, speedo off, and ride quality over bumpy roads is what I've been hearing. I dont want to make the car slower or ride quality worse so what are my options? BTW I'm working with a 1200 budget here.

I'd go with a 17x7. Any 17in wheel under 20lbs will keep the wheel/tire combo weight about the same as stock (38 or 39lbs) As far as tire size, 205/45/17 is the closest to stock dia. to keep the speedo correct.

Yeah i agree with BSEVEER go with 17x 7 with a 215/45/17 tire ride quality wont be that much difference and it will handle like a dream....

I heard that 16x7 is best for autoxn'. Can anyone justify this, or maybe justify the 17's?

Lightweight, Forged better than cast, pay attention to offset and hubcentricty.
-Axis VPD
-Kosei K1
-Buddy Club
-Centreline wheels
-Velox (new PG line)
-Mugen(MF-8 only in 16)
-BBS (RK)
etc..etc....
My personal suggestion
40mm or 42 mm offset 17x7, with either 205/45/17 or 215/40/17
Good Luck
