would type-r springs work on our stock shocks? Or would you have to order type-R struts/shocks too?

they should work, I want a set myself. They're 19mm lower than our stock. If you wait until the end of this month Acura will be releasing gthe FP package parts so you can order/buy the FP springs for the Type S, I think they're the same springs because they're also 19mm lower and a little stiffer.

only difference is it would have the rsx springrates and not the ep ctr spring rates, correct?

stock type s is softer than stock type r. I think the FP springs are are the type r springs because they're advertised as being lower and stiffer which is what the type r comes with stock. Who knows, I'm probably way off:D

Actually I've read many times that the FP parts will NOT be sold seperately - at least not through the dealers. Maybe there will be Ebay auctions or other sellers around but you won't be able to buy FP parts through Honda or Acura dealers.

that's what I thought too and was disapointed:(

but when I went to Acura last week to check out sway bar prices, I asked about FP springs, the service dude told me by the end of march or april, so who knows:o :D

"would type-r springs work on our stock shocks? "

We have the same shocks as the CTR, only dif. is the springs.
Don't remember where but I'm sure that's what I read somewhere.

Hey ... anyone follow up on this??? My dealer was checking on the availability of the RSX FP springs. No answer yet.

Better yet, has anyone been able to get their hands on a set of CTR springs???
