Tien Flex/EDFC

I am currently looking for information on the Tien Flex type suspension and EDFC controller. Anyone who has this please let me know what you think of them. Thanks.

i love my type flex's... i dunno about the edfc but someone mentioned that it wont fit into our cramped engine bay...

I left everything at tein's suggested measurements and now, i cant jack up the front anymore... hahahahaha:D

this might be a weird question, but how do you guys pronounce "tein?" do you say it like teen? do you say tine, like pine with a t. or do you say it some other way?

I was just curious since there is no official "Ti" sound in Japanese. Could you ask how you pronounce the "Ti" in Japanese. I thought it was like pine with a t. or do you say it some other way? (As fishboy said above)

To get back onto the original topic. Is there some link to more information? My brother wants this setup and he was telling me about it and now I want to see if they have a kit for my car.

Maybe a better way to spell it phonetically is "tane" like in a lions "mane". Hope that helps.

I checked with a local japanese mechanic...he said it is definitely tan.(like you went to the beach and got a tan). He even told me all this time I have mentioned my tein suspension, he didn't know what the hell I was talking about. Today I showed him the add in a mag and hes like oh yeah those are tans.

I have the Flex system with EDFC on my car and love it. It is the best thing for a lazy guy with adjustable suspension. I personally prefer it over jacking up the body panels each time I have to adjust it.

Teins are the way to go! Hey DJMakAtack..what do you have your damper settings at? I havent had a chance to play around with my settings yet...been too busy to drive my car around...

i set em all at 0 but i mught soften the back cuz it still doesnt move. even at this setting it hurts to hit a bumpy road, but i love the way my baby turns. and that psssh sound that it makes when i take a bump too fast... juss turns me on:p

its not that hard to change the settings... i can do it with my fingers... y dont u do it?

ps: are you still willing to trade ur type s for a day??:cool: :D
