ok guys, seems that many of us here detail cars, and there is NO one single solution to do it... but there are many of us here on the site that have no idea what a clay bar is, or cannot distinguish the differences between many products... so I decided to make a guide on how to detail cars for you...

What do you use to dry it with? Leather Chamoi? Or do you guys use towels? I want something that soaks up water pretty well, and won't leave watermarks after- any ideas? Thanks:D
THAT IS THE QUESTION!! Now this may sound dumb, but there is obviously a clear coat on my wing, do I want to wax it? What is the best method to clean carbon fiber??? Anyone's help is most appreciated. Julie
is the honda touch up paint good for scratches? i have some scratches on the front bumper from rocks driving down the freeway all the time. is the little bottle they sell at honda any good? they arent that deep so im just wondering. i dont want it to look really ugly or anything or notice the paint...

So I debadged the CIVIC and SI along with the ivtec stickers 2 months ago. I can still see the a slight outline of where they used to be. The place where the ivtec stickers used to be has a huge smudge of what looks like glue residue. I've tried rubbing alcohol and goo gone and 2 washes. Still...

I just waxed my car for the first time. used Meguiar's Plus Premium paste wax. I spread the wax and wait for it to dry then wipe it off when it dries. Does that seem completely wrong to anyone? If I'm putting on the wax, then it dries and then i wipe it off, is there some wax still on the car...

I bought a clay bar kit a while ago and the instructions dont say anything about the clay bar... They say to use a dry towel with the two liquids they provided. What do i do with the clay bar?
