any have issues with the dc5 reacro seat fitment? the center console where the ebrake goes does not fit is there a fix for this?
drill holes in the console too allow clearance for the belt buckle bolts or run the recaro buckles and get dc5r seatbelts. these are the only 2 things i could come up with without the use of harnesses for an ep i put these same seats in. obviously drilling/cutting some holes is the easy route.
got any pics of how much cutting of the console did u do?
Swap over the EP3 buckles and you will be fine.
No cutting necessary.
because they dont bolt on the driver seat sitting a lil to the right will buddyclub seat rails fit on dc5 recaros?
arent the dc5 recaros exactly the same as the ep3 recaros short of the rails and the buckles? can you not swap the stock ep3 rails over?
I have dc2 seats using dc5 rails and my buckles went right on no problwm. The only issue was the common inside bolt problem. Everythings good now
what about the buddyclub seat rails will it work on the dc5r recaros?
yeah i beliieve the buddy club bolt up with maybe slight modification, but not 100% sure but i do know people use the buddy club rails on recaros for fa5 fitment. i dont understand why the dc5 doesnt fit. I know when i put my dc2s in they were weird, like the buckles rubbed against the ebrake, but once you thread your front bolts, you can adjust the seat so that it works. again im using dc2 recaros, dc5 recaro rails, and ep3 seat buckles
never had to hack the console with my dc5 recaros
What about the DC2 on the DC5 rails? Will that work? I have a set in my integra i was thinking about putting in the ep
Or is there a way to fit the DC2 seats onto our EP rails? Or must they be replaced? I want to get these red seats out my integra into my hatch.
You can't use the ep rails on ur recaros cuz the recaros are bottom mounted to the seats where the ep rails are side mounted to the seats. You'll need dc5 rails and get a longer bolt and metal tubbing for the rear inside bolt for it to work. You'll need to dremel out the hole as well. Or you can buy my dc2s that will go right in lol
