Suspensions depend on what you want to do with the car and how much $ you want to spend. Springs+Shocks is going to be cheaper but, IMO, is not the best idea if you want the 'slammed' look and drop the height a lot (due to loss of suspension travel and bottoming out). Coilovers that have adjustable shock lengths are great but most are $1K-$2K. But they're a more effective for EPs in terms of racing and performance. A mild drop on stock shocks is probably fine if you just want that. Or you could get aftermarket shocks too.
Bottom line, really up to you and what you want to do. Also, do a search for other topics where this has been discussed.

In order to use the front koni struts, since they are inserts, you need to cut your stock front struts to there spec and basically bolt in the new koni inserts
The rears are direct replacements
-I am currently running the Progress competition coilovers and love them. Honestly, what you want is really up to you (feel/style of driving)
i thought you had to do a lot of custom work on the konis to fit our car since they were ment for the em civics
There are Konis avaiable for the ep3
The fronts are inserts and the rears are direct replacments

if you've got that much noise, it's probably an improper install. I've got in excess of 30k miles lowered, and no noise from the springs.
i know they didn't greese it up when they installed it...but other than that what could be wrong?
