hello, i need some tech help.. i have a true ep3-R, swapped a dc5-r motor and 09 civic si tranny into it, now it wont crank, lights on dash come on except battery light, check engine light.. and the fuel pump does not prime..i checked all plugs and wires but to no avail will it crank..could it be my ground wires or the incorrect wire harness..radio works, a/c comes and clicking noise from the fuse box but no starter click..someone please give me a few ideas..

welcome!
grats on the type r swap.
sounds like a bad battery to me. how old is your battery? make sure your connections are squeeky clean.
if all that looks good, i would get my alternator tested.
what harness did you use?
i used my a3 harness on my type r swap...... fired up first try.

thanks bro, i have a spare ep3 si and im gonna pull the harness off tonight and try it in the morning.. i thought it would be plug and play since both are jdm items, the motor was built by spoon japan so thats why i went with this as opposed to a k24.. thanks alot..ill post up pics of my car tonight...

btw i used the dc5-r harness..

built by spoon?
sweet!
would love to hear it in some videos, once you get her on the road.
I have to ask because you didn't mention it, what ecu are you using?
I used a pre-loaded kal from krpo to get mine running well enough to get to my tuner.

I also have a DC5-R swap in my EP.
I also used the DC5 PRC ECU. Which ECU are you running?
-
yeah what ecu are you running and does it have kpro? if your using a JDM ECU you will need to add a ground to the fuel pump on the ECU harness itself. that was my problem with i swapped a k20a2 with jdm DC5 ecu.
