precision has the turbo already and i called on monday to find out how long and how much and they told me they havent gotten around to it yet. they said theyre going to call me once they finished.
looks like a sick build!
can't wait till you get some numbers!
i know your not gunna want to hear this, but expect to wait a month.
i waited well over a month with the turbo in their hands, they told me they are really backed up and it takes a couple weeks just for them to start looking at it:mfrown:
status??? i need a status report!:mcool::mwink:(no homo)
newest status is that precision called me today and they told me there is really nothing seriously wrong with the turbo. its going to cost $178 to fix and they told me i would get it by the end of the week.
i love k24's them shyts run hard...good luck on the build.
Sweet. For 178 there still had to be something wrong. Did they tell you? Atleast the precautionary steps were taken and the turbo was sent out. Better to be safe than sorry. Wonder how many shops would have just slapped it on there lol. Im sure I could think of a few.
i have been told by 1 of the best tuners (automasters, rated the best tuner on the east coast for subaru and the best subaru tuner in america by SEMA), if the motor fails on the dyno, it is the cars fault, because parts do fail and they tend to fail when the car is being worked very hard, ie tuning. if a piston is shot through the hood or anything else where something is blown right through the block, it is the tuners fault. i don't know how true that is, but it sounds correct
