Suspension notes to self;
- Think I'll pop the front camber back up to -2 or more, maybe - 2.25. I had them set at -1.75 with the caster plate in mind. Too impatient, need more camber. Didn't mention it but had one front side set at -2.4 a while back and it was like night and day. This was before the R lcas were installed.
- ...Which means -1.25 for the rear, which is again more than the accepted 50% of the front camber. For several reasons felt this was the way to go. Just found Andy Hollis does the same thing for similar. I'll take it!
- If I go to next size front spring of 375? I might just not use the spare Eibachs and go with Swifts. Lighter and I'm guessing (need to look it up) around 1/4" more travel (Swifts use a thinner wire). Konis prepared for more travel, smaller diameter tires, and thinner swifts should give me near stock travel! Not sure, I will need to check that out. The car -not the suspension - will have about a 1 1/2" drop. Cool cool beans. It's like pulling weight; a little here and there really adds up.
- Also thinking of using a slightly heavier left front spring than the right front due to weight differences (Andy Hollis). I tried to do so with the current springs but didn't like the weight selections. So, will use Hz. to determine sizes. Loves me that Hz. calculator.
- Saw on a ClubRSX thread that there is a digressive coilover now available from Fortune Auto for $1199.00. Crap. Don't know if they are any good or not, will keep an eye on them. http://www.frsport.com/Fortune-Auto-...FaI-MgodoSEACg
- When searching for tires I heard a lot of negative opinions about R888s. After reading the following it appears that a lot of R888 owners might not have been setting them up correctly !
