i dont really know whats the different with wet nos and dry nos???how does it work??? does it only work when you press the buttom???or do you need to stay pressing it in order to work???
stick around these forums, or read a few of the stickies in the nitrous forum over on clubrsx.Quote:

ep's can't use a dry kit stock. The rsx/ep's have a returnless fuel system, which won't work with dry kits.
A wet kit just has two selenoids and you tap the fuel line inside the engine bay, it's nowhere near as hard as people make it out to be. :D
NOS is a brand not a product.
thats like saying "who has HKS on there car and using it?"
N20, nitrous, and spray are better terms for wha ur tryin to say.
if all else fails, you can just say SQUIRTIN' or SQUEEZIN'
-Mike :confusem:
PS- Some one should sticky that... man, i hate the fast and the furious...
I got HKS on my car and not only using it but Abusing it  :DQuote:

Generally, if your car is stock you don't want to spray past half your crank HP
So 160/2 = 80 shot
But i've heard the fuel pumps can take up to a 100 shot... just don't forget to change the plugs.
actually, on the k-series, that works ok, but thats not the reccommended general rule. 30-35% is generally safe on any motor.Quote:

unless you ep guys have a different pump than us rsx'ers, 125 doesn't even dip the fuel pressure meter.
well got the kit on and it fells really good

65 shot wet... its just right
What does it take to convert a dry kit to a wet kit??
I think you can only turn a wet kit into a dry... not the other way around..
b4 i had my car my brother ran a 100 shot on it and i wouldnt recommend it cause im in for a new motor pretty soon...i would say that 75 is the biggest any1 should go on our motors stock...if u wana go 100 by all means do it, its your car but hearing ticks isnt fun..
i have a mut wet kit right now (NX bottle, NOS solenoids) that i am planning to run a 50 shot on top of my 10PSI JRSC setup. not sure yet if i am going to do it. might just do an a2 swap and bolt the s/c on:mtongue:
so would a 50 shot of nos be equavilant to 50hp? would the same go for 100 shop = 100hp?
yes it would unless its turboed or sc i heard then it doubles it, i could be wrong about that though its just what i heard once.
well i know on the s/c because of the way we were going to set it up, you get more out of the shot because of NO2 cooling the air charge. cooler air is more dense and provides and stronger spark, not to mention that you can advance the timing a little more without worry of detonation. this is where you make the power increase. after some long discussion with my tuner, we basically were coming up with probably a 45-55 whp increase in my car with only a 35 wet shot. but we have not done the kit yet so that is just speculation.
I using the NOS kit and running an 80 wet shot. I love it havent seen no downfalls to this other then when,I first had it .I spreyed it cold twice and it made my knock sensor malfunction be sure to get a warmer man ,I wouldnt even chance spreying without one ever agian.
with running nitrous on the K20A3 with just the minor bolt-ons do you still need k-pro with using a 50-75 shot??
No you do not i would not recomend 75 65 at the max maybe only 75 once in a great while.
i am using a 75 wet shot for about a 8 months now wit i/h/e and i love it.. the best time i got was 13.9
no i am running stock ecu and i am not tuned at all.. it was lots of fun till my third gear started to grind last month lol now im looking for a type s tranny.....
go to be save on a DD and stock motor and stock ECU i shouldnt go over a 50 shot right?
Great info right here guys. Really helping out. I am planning on running a 50-65 shot on my intake, header, cat back and reflash.
I had nitrous on my car last year and it was fun but very expensive at $10 a lb, spending $100 on a bottle every weekend got to be to much. If you are going to do it properly with Kpro and everything else you may as well get a turbo and save money in the long run.
