Question with regards to stock head unit..

Hey guys, so I used to have a 2000 civic ex 2d, and it came with an aftermarket head unit. I remember that while that was great, the downfall was that the key fob receiver was actually in the stock head unit of that car.. I want to listen to my own music but don't want to lose my keyless entry, and I can't seem to find this info anywhere; Does the stock head unit of ep's hold the key fob reciever? Or in other words if I get an aftermarket head unit with aux, will my key fob still work? Thanks much and sorry if i'm being blind toward something haha

Your key fob will work. There is a receiver under the dash in the ep3 for your keyless entry separate from the head unit.
