DIY Burnt Tips / Bluing

OK so here is what is needed


A steady hand
small torch w/ what ever fuel it needs
clean chrome tips.


Ok to start, clean the hell out of the tips, make sure all the black is off, ok keep your torch about half inch from the tips but dont stop moving, the key is keeping the heat even, cool thing is if you mess up you can start over by polishing the hell out of them.


ok turn torch on keep away 1 inch moving all around the chrome, dont stop till you see coloration start to form, once it starts if you make it to hot it will go away, esentally your bluing the exhaust. pics below

Cool stuff, now people don't have to search for exhaust with burnt tips anymore.

nope you can burn any tip yourself now, buy the cheaper exhaust and burn them your tips
