you mean blue? It's the only thing that's left. everywhere else the red stitching is sold out.
I called King and they said once it's gone, it's gone. They are discontinued.

i want to soo find out how to relocate the clutch and brake resevoir to get the front tower bar to work.....
-
I bet it'd not that bad if you actually have the strut bar to see the real clearance issues. If people can tuck engine bays, then I bet this could be done easier than thought.

its not necessary to tuck bay or to "relocate" resevoirs per se
I had it on my ep but took it off because I now have the hotchkis camber plates and have no room for the strut bar
-
so what you do? i'm interested in getting these "show" bars... :)
It'll look good when the hood is popped up.
-
Remove the plastic cover guards and start shaving @ the firewall area until the bar fits.

This Man knows what he is saying, that is exactly what i did
It definitely will not look as clean as if you were to relocate the brake and clutch resevior but it works

To fit the bar you will also have to do something with the AC hardline on the passeneger shock tower. Its 100% in the way.

True that. i got a authentic strut tower bar in the mail last week, im going to see what i can do with it, and if it looks like something ill have time to do im going to go for it. if not, shit will be up for grabs.
-
Wrd, let us know how it goes and if you decide to tackle the project post up pics or put a thread up, Im sure lots of people would be interested in a DIY...

All I did was unscrew the bracket holding it down to the passenger strut tower

Does it rub on the bar? I wouldnt want it to make contact because the aluminum will chafe through with vibration pretty quick.

So I found some pedals on ebay. Looks pretty legit, let me know what you guys think.

hard to tell. I have seen some replicas that are actually really nice. they copied the pedals, packaging, even the instructions.
on a side note, Does anyone who's rocking the EP3 mugen grill tell me which emblem i needto get? Is it the large or the small?

Large for 04-05 face lift; small for 02-03 original.
-
go with the facelift version grill. once you get it, and see the 02-03 version, youll be way happier. looks a lot more up to date, with out a doubt.
im trying to wrap up my damn swap, then ill look at tackling the strut bar. my biggest worry really is figuring out what to do with the ac line. i wish i knew what i was doing and and just make a custom line just for that side, but ive never really messed with anything like that. if anyone has any pointers on that, let me know, and ill work up a diy.

since this is the mugen thread i was wondering if the mugen grill will work on m usdm 2004 ep3? and do i need the 02 grill or the 04 mugen grill??
-
negatorium. the mugen grill requires a jdm bumper. Same for the radiator duct.
Showstoppers does sell a mugen grill replica and it made to fit the usdm bumper.

really? Kerby really knows his mugen goodies. i thought the 02/03 mugen grill would work with the USDM bumper. the usdm grill has the same dimensions and the 02/03 jdm bumper. i know the 04/05 would def require modification due to the slam panel/grill
Kerby's right about the radiator duct. After my surgery, when i was high off percocet last year, i tried. it was an epic FAIL
-
i don't jack my friend. I'm not to sure about the 02-03 grill.
i do know that it's a good idea to get a 04-05 mugen grill. the red H is bigger, and it gives it a nice "modern" look.
see the difference:
02-03

04-05

Both grille fits the USDM bumper with modifications. The 04-05 grille cost more in price + requires a radiator support panel and requires the 04-05 jdm bumper.
-
does the mugen grill just require double sided tape to be installed on the jdm bumper?
-
double sided tape and bumper clips, which comes with the grille if bought new.
-
what must be done to install the 02-03 grill on a usdm bumper?

double sided table or what ever you want to hold it down...
-
like I said... I don't know jack.
I was always under the assumption that the mugen grills didn't fit at all.
Where can the radiator support be purchased to use the 04-05 grill?
