I was wondering, I noticed in magazines EP's have both Type R bumpers installed and Lip spoilers. Is it neccesary to have Type R bumpers to install the Type R front and rear lips? or will the front and rear lips go on stock bumpers?

no, they will not go on usdm stock bumpers... u must get jdm bumpers for jdm lips.. however, they do have lips made for usdm bumpers.. they're made of fiberglass and u must paint them.

they also make a carbon fiber lip kit that fits the usdm bumps.
civic hatch boi pretty much covered it all.
but if you go with jdm bumpers your gonna want the jdm rebars as well.

What about the European Type R? Are those bumpers the same as the JDM or are they like the USDM? I have an offer for a European Type R lip, but I'm not sure if it'll fit. Anyone know?
i am pretty sure the UK type r are the same as the JDM ones cuzz the rear to me u can't see the crease from the rebars as the usdm u can see it...but are u talking about the lip for the front bumper or the rear? well no matter which one it is ur still gonna need the JDM bumper i believe and yeah don't forget the rebars lol good luck!
