    Zex intake filter.

I was watching SPEED on Sunday and caught High-Rev Tuners, it was pretty stupid except I saw this filter from Zex. The main thing that separated it from other filters was that it had a nitrous injection nozzel built in on the end of the filter. I'm gonna try to find a pic of it, but I thought some of you guys might be interested in it.

Hmn, interesting, but shouldn't the nozzle be up towards the throttle body?

i think a single fogger wet needs to be within 6in of the throttle body, but when using a dry kit it's better to mount the nozzle further away from the throttle body.

    I could be wrong though:o

Yeah, that's just dumb. Even dry kits need to be within 6 to 8" of the TB.

Maybe if you had a short ram intake it would work nicely, but not a Cold Air. However, it would alow you to have a pretty stealthy engine bay if you had a cold air.

how about mounting that filter right on to the TB?:D <--nah it wont work ..i know.

that filter is made for the Zex dry kit. Its just another way to show how easy it is to use their kit. it is recommended that a wet fogger system to be mounted about 6" from the TB. why? so the n2o and the fuel will mix before going into the IM, at least thats what i was told.
a dry shot can be mounted an inch or 24inchs away, but guess which one will make more power. yeah , the closer the injector is to the TB , the more power u can make, but sometimes the most power isnt always the best.
