And for those of you wondering, yes, those are Tein SS coilovers. Albeit a bit muddy:
Good to hear Sherwin took care of you.
hmm, Tein's, Wilwoods, tires... I smell a track car or canyon killer:D
oOo very nice. getting it ready for the track i assume? how much did those Tein SS's and Wilwoods set you back?
Yeah, that's the big question..."How much?".
Steve

The normal kit includes 2-piece rotors, forged (better than billet) 4-piston calipers, stainless steel brake line, EBC Green Stuff pads, and all the necessary mounting hardware. Total price: $750 plus shipping. Mine was a little more with the options I got. Shipping from from Southern California to Northern California was around $30.
I got a one-time deal from Fizz Autosports on the Teins since someone had cancelled their order after they'd already arrived. $925 shipped.
The car will eventually see a track. One of my friends took me for a ride in his race prepared Mustang and I was amazed at how much fun it was. I'm hoping to be able to take it to Laguna Seca and Infineon (formerly Sear Point), and possibly Thunder Hill and Willows. I wouldn't do it for competition as my car is my daily driver. I'd just be doing it for the fun of it. I've also got a Progress rear sway bar/tie bar on the back to help cut down on the understeer. It handles like a totally different car.
Minimum wheel size for this kit is 16". I've got 17" wheels with a 37mm offset and there is very good clearance between them. I could probably fit a pinky between the caliper and the wheel.will the wilwood fit over the stock rims????
:p
That is a sweet setup. Have fun with it. :D
