I take it you mean a shift knob, if so just unscrew it and put a new one on.

If you mean the boot around the shifter, then I'm not sure, but I would like to see a leather boot on there.

I've got a MOMO shifter. It's silver and matches the trim perfectly. I tryed putting it on one day and it wasn't a hassle at all. The problem is finding a way to attach the silver clip, at the end of the rubber shift boot, into the knobs end. They just don't meet up right. We may have to wait for an aftermarket boot. Aparently DC Sports is making a short shifter.

i tried to put on a Spoon Sports shift knob but the boot didnt line up like you stated, so i took it back and i'm gonna wait until someone comes out with a diff shift boot.

I have a momo shift knob also. It's chrome with a red grip. looks pretty good, but there'e a small gap between the shift knob and the shift boot where you can kinda see the shifter. Doesn't look too bad though. I want to get the type R shift knob. I'll post pics of my car fairly soon.

the type-r has a space between the knob and boot also, weird, I'd like to see how it looks with no space at all.

I used a rubber sleeve with a zip tie under the shift boot. This keeps the boot from sliding down when shifting. Hope this helps.
