    Skunk 2 coil-overs

ok, i have my skunk 2 coil-overs finally installed, but they are noisy as hell, whenever i turn the wheel, they make a series of clunking sounds, my firends say it sounds like someone strumming a guitar.... will this go away after awhile, or is there something i can do to make it go away??? And when are they going to make shocks????!!!! the ride is not that great... i think im going to raise it up, until shocks come in!!!....

Have the shop that installed them lubricate them with a silicon grease. Mine were the same way until I greased them. Thats all it needs. The reason it makes noise is because the strut itself turns when the wheel turns, this causes the spring to rotate on the perch that the coil over sits on. Skunk2 is working on fixing it. Im not sure when the kit will be out. They said it will be some sort of bearing system that allows the perch of the coil over to rotate without having the spring move. Hope this helps.
