Stock Shocks

I cant wait any longer for a aftermarket shocks, im planning to put a lowering spring on ma car and what is the best one out there that is good for my stockies? and how lond does ma stockies can hold on? my friend hase a GC coils in his civic and a stock shocks about 3 years ago and it still runs great
a help would be nice, im planning to put a S tech Tein spring tought.
