    Customizing tail lights

Just finished my tails and thought id post some pics...used a dremel to cut out the hole for the new blinker and wired the top light where the blinker used to be to come on with the brakes...IMO a nice touch to go along with the painted headlights.

Sure, it was pretty easy...I cut the hole for the new blinker to the same size as the old one and just moved the socket...I bought two new blinker sockets and bulbs from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...A5MT&catcgry5=
and wired it into the black (ground) and white (power for brake) wires that the parking/brake light has.

Which socket did you get? P#1034244 (single filament) reverse light) or P#996540 (double filament) Is this correct? Where did you get the harness for the wires?

socket #5, I used standard red and black wires w/22 gauge insulated butt ends pushed into the socket to connect to the male terminals...they actually hold themselves in damn tight and get a good connection

You do need to remove your bumper, it really isnt that hard at all, I just popped up the clips on top of the bumper and removed the screwes and removed the screw in each wheel well and I believe there are a couple clips also. I left the bottom clips ttached and just popped off the top side of the bumber to get to the screws holding in the bottom of the light housing...The part numbers I used are listed above, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
