I'm not doubting that it feels faster. The part-throttle response by all who purchased the ECU upgrade was positive. It just seems odd that at WOT on the dyno, that nobody's making any substantial power. Look at Hondata's own website and you'll see that they can't explain why a modified (I/E) A3 is not making the power that it should. The 30-day money back guarantee is a good sign and I might consider trying it for that time period. When I put the ecu back in I did'nt feel a 5whp gain...it was more like when you get i/h/e, about 10-11 extra horses...plus the higher redline...it's awsome...
BTW: Wasn't Hondata supposed to set up a group buy for these once they were released? I figured it got pushed back until the "fixed" program was released. Any word from them?

You are an idiot, the $600 for hondata is the best mod that you can get for your car. It gives you the hp, and torque that you can actually feel.
The old HONDATA FLASH was not responding good i/h/e....but they fixed that problem a long time ago....One guy here with the borla i/h/e and the new flash was making 160whp....the old flash sucked but the new one is .,.,. Awsome.,.,.,.:D :p ...just try it .....you wont want to take it back!

I'm not sure why they did'nt update it??? But it is different!!!.... I left it with the dealer on tuesday and it was back thursday, but I did'nt pick it up until friday....Just try it, if you dont like it ...take it back...:D

I'm calling B/S on that one.... I just e-mailed Hondata and they told me that there was only ONE flash for the ECU.... nothing new is being used.... if you are telling the truth.... you should have a copy of the dyno run shouldn't you???? Would you mind posting it please.... thanks

if it truly did that, sure i'd pay $600...
sorry, 5hp...10hp...shit even 25 hp aint gonna drop a full second off your 0-60mph...
company's with false claims lose all my respect...
not to mention companys that dont fully test their product before releasing it for sale... (ie: detonation problems)...
i've said it once and i'm saying it again...
just my opinion...
I thought the one second improvement came from eliminating the 2-3 shift in 0-60 acceleration (because of the increased redline), not because of an increase in horsepower.
