    To those who've relocated the battery:

    BOTH OF YOU!

    Lets have some details on how you grounded and wired it back to the front. Pictures are welcome, too!

    Its a do-able thing to help redistribute some of the extra weight from the front to the rear of the car... which will help handling for auto-x.

    SCCA rules mandate that it goes behind the back seats, and in a safe box.

    Here's how GrassRoots MotorSports did thiers:



    BMW's, I've heard, come with the battery in the back...but maybe its just certain ones.

    Almost all BMW's and Benz have the battery in the back.

    My girl was considering a Saturn Ion when we were car shopping, i was surprised to find it has the battery in the trunk as well...

    I know SummitRacing sells battery relocation kits for civic's but don't know if they have one for the 02 Si.

    My memory is little vague... But, wasn't there a posting about some "thinner" battery that supposedly has longer life span? It was supposed to be more expensive. Anymore info on this? You might be able to put both the battery and the spare tire in a same place with this stuff.
