Somehow, that shield looks like it covers too much of the bulb to enable high beams. Regular H4 hi-low bulbs only have a shield over one filament, and no shield over the other. Correct me if I'm wrong.

are those the philip Ultinon 6000k bulbs? Would they offer a 4100k version?

The bulb is covered up just fine........trust me.......there will probably still be some glare even with that. The only bad thing I notice on this is that the actual chrome shield is still chrome on the inside where the bulb sits.........this should be flat black for glare minimization purposes.......and that can be fixed easily by paint. The kit looks very clean and well put together. I cant wait for pics..

Some on wall pics...with low and high beams working.......then some down the road pics.....like a drivers point of view.....with low then high beam pics. :)
