    TEIN Basic??

Are these coilovers out for our car yet?? I know they aren't anything like the Super Streets but I don't need anything that fancy.

The TEIN add in the recent Super Street and SCC mags. have said that the basic kit fits the 01+ civic, but their is a note added to the line and it looks like this

    01+civic* $TBA

    *includes hatchback

you can check if you want, but that is whta it says in the add in this months SCC mag. I don't know whether that means it is out yet or not but that is what their add says.:)

I actually emailed Tein about a week ago on this topic and just heard back today, here's their reply:

In regards to your question. The Basic Damper for the EP3 is due to release at the end of June. Please check back on our website often for the latest updates and releases. Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension Products.

From what I understand, the type R has a different style front suspension setup from us...Anyone care to comment on this?

Just got a confirmation email from Tein:

The Basic damper was done on the Si EP3, so therefore you will not run into any problems. Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension Products.

Im just guessing but i think itll be in the $1400.00 range. Probably to compete with companies offering similar coilovers for similar price.
