    trunk amp ground, where?

for those of you with amps in the hatch, where did you put the ground? the whole spare tire well doesn't even feel like metal, like some sort of plastic. i've been looking for 30 minutes, this is the last thing i need to do :'(

The spare tire well is metal, in fact. Very important when making a ground contact is to sand the paint off to bare metal. If you do that in the spare tirewell, you'll see that it's metal. That is where I have my amp ground.

Ditto, a hole was dirlled under the board in the back, paint sanded off and the ground is screwed into that. Perfect spot.
