can it be bad to have your car too stiff?

i mean with sway bars, strut bars, etc... can you actually crack or break something on your frame from having too stiff a rear sway bar? i read this somewhere and i was wondering what your thoughts might be. i want the mugen rear sway, i guess i'm asking xlr8 if you think it can be too stiff at times or if it is just right? and anybody else that wants to chime in on the subject go right ahead.

I heard that having a too tough tie bar could break the weld spots that connect the tie bar to the chasis. But I've heard nothing about too stiff sways. Hope that helps sorry.
