    Sunroof discoloration

I noticed today that the rubber surround the sunroof is starting to turn white. Do any of you have this same problem? If so, than what should I use?

i don't have this problem. Do you park out doors all the time? The sun would cause this to happen. There's something out there called Back to Black but I forgot what company makes it.

are you sure you didn't just leave some wax on it? I noticed my sunroof rubber was all covered in white and then I realized it was just leftover wax that didn't come off...lol

It could be wax. Just clean it really good and treat it with a good rubber protectant like 303, vynalex or something like that.

Oh yeah, you could look for a product called gummi phledge. You can get it at some BMW dealers or at autopia car care

try using baby oil. you're supposed to use it on the door seals. I'd imagine it work the same for the moon roof
