Question Side effects from TieRod nut too tight?

What are some side effects that could happen from having the nuts that connect the tie rod to the strut too tight? How tight should the nuts be?

I just tightened mine till it became snug and then gave it a half a turn. I believe someone said 35fl lbs. Not totally sure about that though.

I'm not sure if you can go too tight. The spacer that is covered by the boot allows the bolt to swivel(sp?) around freely so there wouldn't be any binding.

I do not know about these cars but I know on some older cars if you do this your stearing can bind or just get a little stiffer then normal.

I keep getting a squeeking noise on the right side that I have determined is the tie rod end. I lubed it up with some greasless lube but that only quiets it for a week or so. Not sure why its making the noise but its only on the right side and only under sharp turing :o
