Aluminum Shift Knob

i was thinking of buying the rsx optional 5 speed aluminum shift knob with the black lettering and the ctr boot. anyone in this forum have this? and also can u post a picture? thanks. i wanna see how it looks in our ep

Here's a pic of the aluminum one...the base one is just plain and black, and doesn't look as good....all though it has the right amount of gears....YAY RICE!!!!!

here's my set up

rsx 5 speed knob
ctr boot

rubber o ring holds up the boot
grommet keeps the knob facing north

I don't know about the giant SI emblem in the previous pic...
I don't usually forget the type of civic I drive in. ...

the difference between boots....

look at the chrome ring on the end of it. It's bigger on the USDM boot than the JDM boot. Look closely at the chrome ring on both pictures and you'll see the difference.

Haha the shift knob was free...lol don't ask. I plan on matching it up eventually w/ the tranny, but the knob goes w/ the dash and boot 10x better than the dildo knob...*shrug*. I was planning on getting a full momo setup anyway, so that shouldn't be on there much longer.

The Si symbol? Is my car a Si? Yes....Did moving badges cost any money? No....I think that area is really plain too. I was bored one day and put my debadged Si on the dash.

And yes, I put it there to fucking remind me of what kind of civic i drive. How about I get a type R looking setup? That way I can pretend to have a civic that i really don't!!!! Your logic is retarded :(

p.s. - the USDM boot looks fugly w/ those style knobs because the ring is too big for the knob. The JDM boot accompanies those smaller ball style knobs better.

*edit* im making fun of your logic, not your wanna be JDM type R set up, because that actually looks decent.

very nice... the rsx optional aluminum knob doesnt look bad. i wish it had red lettering, but black isnt that bad. i probably go get it then. very nice. can you explain to me about how u hold the boot up with a rubber o ring? u have a picture of that o ring and where to get it? i heard many used black tape to hold it up. thanks

you can get it at the acura dealer. its like 60 bucks? i dunno. jdmhondaparts.com sell them for like 55. its pretty nice.
