    intake manifold

When you remove your intake manifold/ throttle body, do you HAVE to replace your gaskets, or only if they break? I'm thinking about doing some polishing down through the runners on my intake manifold, and just need to know if I should set money aside for gaskets.

Not quite the same thing. Gaskets can sometimes be reused, but if they're cheap enough go ahead and replace.
