its a true CF hatch just like a hood CF on top and fiberglass skeleton

that's crazy...we have access not only to a carbon fiber front end, but now a carbon fiber hatch...what's next, the fenders :) Our whole cars could be carbon fiber.

02 SilverSiHB I assume when you say "we have access" it means a small hand full of people...so where can us normal peeps get a hold of a CF hatch and front end? I doubt it is as simple as going to a website, giving your CC number, and having a CF hatch shipped to your doorstep. I only say this b/c the same situation arises w/ the CF mugen and type-R wings ( not everyone can get one, unless I'm wrong). Maybe Dre can follow thru w/ a mod list and where a hatch like this can be had.:D

the hatch is made by VIS. I had a little trouble with the latch but after a little grinding i got it to work i also had to make a few holes for the harness and wing, i swaped the glass from my stock hatch so that was an extra expense, the defroster wires became a little short so i didn't even bother hook it up but you could if i extend he wires. the stock interior hatch trim panels don't go back on unless you drill more holes or screw it on (i only used the lower cover the hides all the locks and wiper motor which i modified to fit) oh ya the hatch was made from a JDM hatch so the licence plate hole are different. that's basicly the problems i had. in the end its a different look and worth the work.
