Put a 200 BHP engine in the EP3..

No one will buy it because No parent is gonna anti up the insurance for a car that is sure to beat all STOLEN car records..

And the people that are able to buy it on their own will probably go a different direction..

Don't get me wrong.. I totally like the idea of having that motor in our cars but from what I hear from some peeps, insurance is a killer on this car already..

You put 200 ponies in it, in the U.S.A, and the insurance will be no less than 3k a year in ANY state..

I don't agree with that but I think it's the truth..

I think restyling means they are going to add a body kit to it and maybe some internals.. I would think a FULL on Climate Control system would sapp some HP out of the car anyhow.. I never really use AC.. Just don't like to untill I really need it..

I understand for those of you in Texas, Florida, Cali or Arizona/Nevada can't use plain AIR all the time but in Minnesota it's doable..


I expect the 2004 to get some nicer wheels and perhaps ground effects, maybe the Type r wing or Type R Body but not the coveted A2.....

As for removing the S2000...how? It's RWD, it's being upped to a S2200 (2.2L) and will have more power.

It's a 2 seater and the Si is a hatchback.

Either way, we're not getting the CTR and the S2k is here to stay.

Yep....people don't buy enough japanese cars (especially performance japanese cars) to make bringing the CTR over profitable. It would just compete with the RSX-S. There are too many american car companies to compete with as well

the EG Si ran from 92'-95'. The Si's before that ( 84'-87' 88'-91') also had four year runs...all hatchbacks no fackin trunk.

Um, I don't think that this car will be stolen all THAT much. First of all it's a hard car to steal. Unless you get specific key made for THAT car. You can't really do much except for stick it on a flatbed. If what you are saying were true, the RSX-S would be one of the most stolen cars around.

EDIT: I hope they bring over the K20A2!!!!!!:D

My completely uneducated guess:

Very subtle body changes. Even though they will be subtle, half of the people on this board will think they look good but pretend they look terrible, and half of us (myself included) will think they look good and just be jealous. There is a slim chance that the changes look stupid though, and we'll all get a chance to make fun of everyone who buys one and it will make us feel better. This may or may not include rims.

Gauge cluster will be updated. It will look more modern but won't be all one color. All one color is cool, so I won't be upset.

No climate control. The knobs might be slightly rearranged though.

That's it. No CTR. No K20A2. Maybe not even a FP package.
