    Lowering the clutch

I had a friend who lowered their clutch to make the distance shorter between your foot and the floor on an eclipse, can you do that with our car? I think the pedal comes out too far.

I agree. If it didnt hurt anything, I'd like to have mine a little lower too.

this is only possible on cars with adjustable clutch cables... most aftermarket ones can do this... so wait til you replace the clutch, and add one, and then you can, it's easy to do, my friend did it on his 5.0

besides lowering it may make cruise control nonfuctional...just stick it in an inch or so...the try to get cruise working...it wont...I found this out first week of ownership.

I've actually noticed I only have to press about half way down to change gears...so if we can't lower the clutch, you could always do that.

I just had the service done for fixing the noise in the clutch, and they also re-adjusted it. I'm still getting used to it, but it sure is alot easier to push than before... it feels like new, I didnt even notice it getting firmer, but it must have been big time.
