    Replica CTR skirts?

Wondering if anyone is producing replica versions of the Civic Type R side skirts. I recently bought a replica CTR wing and I was very satisfied. Since the OEM skirts go for almost $500 the replicas should be able to save us at least half (my replica CTR wing=$120, OEM CTR wing=$400+)
    :)

Musashi lives next to Asylum and says they are cool & has purchased from them before. If people start to post having problems with them then I will take them off the list.;)

what's the deal with replicas, i've heard a few ppl who have the oem skirts say that replicas were a bad idea, 'casue they wont really fit and will need excesive modifications to fit.
*anyone know about this, cause if they work just the same, I really wouldn't mind saving a few hundred.
btw is tht 500 'each' or for a "pair"?

    Should be for the pair.
Replicas are exact copies so any modification would be needed for both :)

is there a CTR sideskirt that doesnt need to be mod by drilling holes on the side of our car =(? does the Buddieclub drill from the side like the JDM sideskirt or behind the wheels.

CTR skirts are well worth the 500. Has rubber lining along the top, is poly u, uses clips that secure well, fits perfect.

Replica stuff will require mods. Even if they're exact copies, the mold will never stay perfect. I've helped with a couple Buddy Club installs and its a pain. You need double sided tape for the flare and drilling holes in the rear wheel well to hold the skirt up is kind of a pain.

OEM stuff is ALWAYS better than aftermarket. especially if it's cheaper.

I know a few shop owners and they all told me different. Usually 19 out of 20 will not bolt right on like the real one would. Youd have to drill extra holes, sand and at times, even chop them. If moneys not an issue I'd say go with the real one.
