It all depends on how low and how hard your driving your car. SpeedRacer drives hard and is always canyon running.
Well, come next month (August) I will have had my Eibach Pro-Kits installed for exactly one year. Very recently (the last month or so) I have noticed the ride is noticeably more "choppy" and "bouncy" vs. a year ago. Can this be attributed to the OEM shocks wearing out faster? The Pro-kits are only a 1" drop by the way. I'm looking into full coilovers or the new Mugen shock/spring kit as an upgrade but was wondering why the ride has deteriorated so quickly!

i for most part drive car easy, have had it lowered with sportlines from 4/02-11-02 and nuespeed race from 11-02-now. I have noticed the ride quality deteriorate but i drive it mostly on highway sometimes on some rough streets but next to nil canyon driving like speedracer
so i think it varies from a few months to probably a couple of years or so depending
Just wondering how much are the OEM shocks? I would think though that I will not need them because I just order the springs and I am hearing some aftermarket ones will be out by end the summer.
I had prokits on my last car and it took about 8 months until the shocks were gone. It usually has more to do with the spring rate and if the stock shocks can keep up with the newer springs. Also of course the lower you go will kill the shocks.

Those two brands offer life time warranty. I've had mine for more than 5years and have not had a problem. Aftermarket springs = aftermarket shocks, no substitutions.Originally posted by 513n179

I was thinking of replacing the rubber were the springs mount to see if that helps with making no sounds since the ones on the car right now are worn to the OEM springs. But the cost of the rubber form Honda seems a little high does anyone know of a place to get some new ones cheap or even Poly one that I know I will have to lub up would keep it good and stiff.
