lightweight wheels in front only for drag racing?

Right now, I have some heavy ass 18" RH wheels. Later down the road, I'd like to get some good 1/4 mile times to see how my mods react. Would I benefit from just getting 2 lightweight wheels with some good drag radials and putting them up front only? Should I go with 15" or 16" and what width (15x6, 6.5, 7...) would be the best? Can you recommend a good cheap drag tire? I plan on staying under $500 for 2 wheels and 2 tires, so I'm not looking for anything real high qaulity. I probably won't put more than 20 miles total on the wheels and tires. I've been thinking about Konig Heliums, Rota Subzeros, or maybe Ray's Gramlights if I can find a good price.

don't get gramlights. get some slipstrems or even some centerlines.
