    how do i mount my amp to the back of the rear seat

    There are actually a few ways to approach this. Here's a couple:

    Mount a small piece of MDF to the seat via screws. Tap 4 small pilot holes in the metal casing of the back of the seat and be careful not too push too hard so that you end up going through the seat cushion. You can paint or carpet the MDF as well for cosmetics. You can either route the wiring through the underside of the MDF (Just raise it with spacers and tap holes) or with some loom. This would be the better of the 2 as you will not introduce any unwanted interference.

    Second, mount the amp directly to the back of the seat.

    i screwed both my amps and farrad caps directly into the back of the seat. I used a hammer to tap the screwes to get them started and they screwed right in and hold everything very tight.

    thanks for the advice, it was the only place left to mount the amp, i ended up buying the JL audio w6v2 H.O. box, and it takes up the whole back end
