i have had both on my car....
205/40/17 are too close for comfort for me...as in NO sidewall...
i blew a tire, and chipped my rim...bad bad bad!
now i have the 215/45/17s and i am lovin them, they give you that extra protection...
as in 205/35/17s, all i gotta say is good luck! :)
