    Exclamation Could i be doing this waayyyy too much?????

    I usually was my car about 1-2 times a week....tha other day my friend told me i was washing it too often and that ina few months ima start wearing away at tha clear coat and make tha car look dull. Is this true or what? how often should i was?



    p.s.---I have permanent waterspots on my windsheild...anything that removes?:(

    If you clean it that often you probably don't have to hose it down every time. Just use some clean wet towels and wipe it down in sections and then dry it with clean towels. Just make sure you have several towels or rinse them frequently. My brother has had a car for over a year and it has only been washed once. He waxes often and wipes it down as I said.

    ok thank you very much. i guess i should find the softest towel around cuz i know if u wipe it with a rougher cotton towel it will leave a little scratch haze over time. but thanks for tha info:)

    Search for "clay bar". It takes out contaminants as well on metal as well as glass surfaces.

    Either that or use some dish washing liquid on the windshield and scrub.

    You're going to need Diamondite to remove the spots on the glass. www.properautocare.com
