    what size wheels should i get for racing?

    lightweight 15's are ideal for drag and autocross :)

    nothing if you're street racing. i'd probably call the local authorities if i saw you.

    but the factors in deciding on wheels are; weight, strength, size, look, cost.

    it really depends on how much money you have to spend. forged is stronger and lighter but cost more. cast is heavier but costs less.

    strength and less rotational mass is better for racing. best choice is forged.

    if you have alot of power go for a bigger rim, more contact patch etc etc., if you have stock power stay 16 and wider.


    There is no real 'street racing' size. Just whatever size will give you the best handling and the lightest weight.

    Street racing is dumb, plain and simple. I'm no angel though and have done it in the past (ticketed for it once as well) but I have too much waiting at home for me to risk my life and the lives of others if something went wrong.

    Take it to the track.

    yeah i guess your right steve, its nothing major.. i just like to run when someone pulls up on me and starts reving. :)

    I know the feeling. It's even worse now with my car since EVERYONE and their mother wants to race me.

    But, I'm moving and I'll be about 15 mins from the only track in South FL. I'll be there at least once a week. :)
