Reply With Quotere-bar = reinforcement bar. It is the metal bar, bumper support, that goes behind the bumper. JDM bumpers are shorter, therefore require smaller re-bars.
I was looking on a site today for suspension parts and it said they had CTR front and rear Rebar's for sale. What exactly are rebar's?

Thank you, so if I was going to get the CTR body kit would I need the front and rear rebars?
You have 3 options. 1) grind down the USDM rebars 2) have no rebars at all 3) buy the JDM rebars. No rebar at all would make the car handle like shit and probably be dangerous. Just spend the couple hundred dollars and get the JDM rebars.
I heard some fab a re-bar out of alum.stock too.
