Finally got my springs put on!!

Progress springs. 2.0" front and back. Rides as smooth as it did before. I like it. http://groups.msn.com/CoolSi/shoebox.msnw

Go there to see pics. I'll post some better pics when the car is all cleaned up. This will do for now. Let me know what you guys think.

How long did it take you and did you use hand tools? Stock shocks I'm assuming?

ssvr6: It took me about 2 days. :D I tried doing it myself and I ended up stripping the inside of one of the shocks. SOO, I had to take it somewhere to get it done. Cost me $106 for a new shock and $150 for labor. Sucks huh? Oh well, shit happens. You guys better like it! :D j\k

    P.S. They are stock shocks.

    lol, NICE!

I'll be paying someone to do mine as well since no one I know has a garage or driveway and the Condo Nazi's where I live would have me publicly stoned if I did it in my parking spot.

    It looks great!

I'm working on that AS I TYPE. I hope to be in my sweet ass new home in about 2 years. I own my condo and I'm happy with it, I just need a damn Garage. I'm looking for AT LEAST a 2 car with hopes of a 3.

    3 car equals:
    1 bay for my car
    1 bay for her car
1 bay for the "project car"

    :)

Oh yeah, I was adding some wiper fluid to my Passat a month ago and "golf cart security" stopped me to see what I was doing. It's that bad here. You can't back into a spot. You get the "We'll tow your car" decal on your window that you have to take off with Goo Gone and a razor. (Reasoning is cause of exhaust fumes and noise pointed at open windows and what not.)

I'm sure the person that originally complained of this is dead anyway, they need to change that.

    :D

I take it these are the progress made specifically for the si :D unlike my dumb ass who has the ones for the EX. I'm sure you read my post about how terrible the ride is. So you said the ride is smooth, but what about handling? To you still have body roll? Is it way better than stock?
