Here are the pics I saw on the site. All were for a CTR. Very interesting. This deserves more research.

Dyno info is also supplied for the CTR.

Rain could definitely be an issue. It may be worth e-mailing the company to find out more about this. Looks like the price is 562 Euros (I assume). That is $641 USD before shipping. Ouch.

    Yes OUCH !!!

Anyway, my worry is in heavy rainfall, water will be sheeting on the hood and flowing into the intake pipe FAST !
Even with drainage, the intake pipe might not have enough air ?

...i can't make out how the air gets in.. the flexible plastic leads to the hood, but there's no scoop... does that harder (looking) plastic run along the top edge of the hood??

edit: wait, it's not attached to the hood at all. now i'm really confused...

It looks like the intake is molded into the plastic just below the wipers. It faces forward, goes down, and then towards the front of the car. I just e-mailed the company about the rain question and shipping issues. I'll let you when I find out.

Actually, I think that price is in pounds since the company appears to be in the UK, plus it looks like a pound symbol on the price list. In which case $562 GBP = $907 USD. I think I might just ram some air into my engine with a JRSC instead.

That's a reallly interesting idea anyway, even if it cost an arm and a leg!
