It will look nice as long as you get the right tire size.
Above is with 215/45/17, get that size or 205/45/17.
Dont get 205/40/17 that some shops will try to sell you.
because it will end up being a smaller side wall leading to a harsher ride, and with the 215's it will help a little more for grip.Originally posted by Tnhatch03

Thank you all for posting. I've decided the 1.5 drop is good enough for me. Now I just have to decide whether to go with the 40 series or 45s. Decisions Decisions...
if you buy a tire that has a different circumference... the number of rotations per mile will be different and your speedometer will be off.
if you don't care, buy whatever you want...
if you care, try using a tire size calculator that will help determine the size difference...
remember that wheel offset matters when you start changing things too much...

what would be the best set up for a rota 16" black slipstream. i not sure what tire would be good for this. the rubbers i want are some hankook ones(my mom has them wrapped on stockies on her g35) i love the feel of hankooks very good ride
