Rubbing Alcohol works.. Just dab it on and let it sit there. After that just wipe away..
help me people! i backed up into a pole :( and the pole kindly left some of it's paint on my bumper...i didn't notice it before, but it's been a few days and it's dried on my bumper! any tricks or tips on getting it off w/o damaging my car? also, i park under trees a lot and i've been getting what looks like sap on my car. there's a patch that i seem to have missed and it doesn't wash off! will goo gone work here? or do i have to do something else? any input is greatly appreciated! ;)

It certainly doesn't help the paint.
You could also try applying an ice cube to the sap if its a warm day... The cool ice will make the sap harder and less likely to get "squished" around.
just get some sap/tar/whatever else remover from your local autoshop

I would recommed that.. I used that on my 1991 Integra and it took off the clear coat... Alcohol works fine... After you remove it, just waz that area and it looks good as new.. ;)
Isn't taking the clear coat off a bad thing?Originally posted by Zigen5
