wow that is a lot more than I was expecting...I guess thats why people started making the replicas. how does it attach? I don't really want to spend that much if it can be popped out in a parking lot
It is secured by 5 clips across the top & double sided tape along the bottom and sides. It can not be pulled off in a parking lot unless someone pops your hood.

Who here painted the inside of the grille black and then cleared over the top of it for a two-tone effect? This is what the instructions say to do. I've got mine painted all white but am unsure of how "clean" it will look going with how the mugen instructions say to paint the inner portion a matte black. I don't know I've just been debating before installing it.
Well i didnt paint anything black i painted the whole grill silver.. i think it looks nice

Yep, paint the inner recess (including the connecting rods) black.. It looks much better IMO, and is the look Mugen intended:
Although the instructions are in Japanese, if you have a look carefully you will see a diagram where they show the two-tone line with measurements...
I drew a curve around the recess using the figures in the instructions and got my local Honda bodyshop to do the job. Very well done too.
