Resonant "hum"....?

At idle (and driving) there is an annoying "hum" like blowing over the opening of a glass bottle, but not quite as loud. It's noticable when I have my wife and daugther in the car (since I turn the radio down) and it's pretty annoying. Other wise, the radio is cranking and I'm lucky I hear myself think.

Is it from my CAI and if so, how I can get rid of it?

Most likely it is your intake......When I temporary had the Intake cone filter on my car it had this "hummm" sound. Its very noticable when the radio is off. I assume its just the intake sucking in air slightly while idling.
