opinions on 04 side skirts

Hi
just wondering if the 04 (US) that we have seen if it comes with the side skirts do you think that if we (02-03) owners put it on
will it look good? I mean the type R has bigger ones and has
a lip on the front and rear to make it all look symetrical. Will
the US 04 skirts look good with just them installed? in your opinion?

I think just the Type R skirts without the front and rear lips looks good. Those new skirts are ugly IMO.

i feel the same way. the 04 sides are so so ugly.. and knowing honda, the JDM type R skirts are prolly going to be cheaper the the 04skirts.

arent the (us)04 sideskirts almost identical to the type R side skirts? it just seems that the "flare" towared either ens is bigger on the typr R....
in all the type R sideskirts alone would look really good in an SI, they are just so damn expensive...

i think your thinking about the GFX kit skirts... the 04s are nasty.. makes me want to be sick..

I think you guys are a little too quick to judge the 04 side skirts until you see them in person.

In my opinion, 2002 & 2003 EP3's looked unfinished with their lower side body seams exposed. I know if I would have bought a light colored one, I would immediately paint that seam flat black.

So, I think they help finish off the side appearance.

yeah, i don't understand why everyone is so quick to bash the new side skirts. sure, they aren't anything really crazy and whatnot, but thats the point. i personally like them... having them on looks 10x better than having that unfinished body seam exposed. if i don't get the replica type-r kit in the spring, i'll at least pick up a set of these skirts.

thats only b/c thats what is on your car, the new side skirts look 10x better. not IMO

I like the 04' skirts better than the Type-R skirts.
The 04' skirts are not as gaudy, they're simple and look GREAT with no front/rear lips.
The Type-R skirts look out of place to me, unless you get the entire kit.

at first i didnt like them because nobody really did...so i was just going along with the general thought....now as i look really closely....they looks pretty dang good...i mean, skirts on my old accord were just a straight piece of plastic...at least these ones look good if not better than normal side skirts for other cars.

i say....the only thing really turning me off is the price...if someone were to make a replica..i would be over it in a second!
