actually.. anything will work. I used Rust-Oleum stuff. BlackJDMep found some bbq grill paint and it came out nice :D
Just make sure you let the paint dry fully before sealing the light back up.

okay thanks, im finally goin to have the balls to touch my headlight. still kind of scared:( ... how long will this project take??? and how do i cover up the whole side binker?? i see in the project section did it but i still cant see the techqiue on how it was dont. before i had a hard time taking out my front bumber... i unbolten every nut and still couldnt get it off.. i didnt want to pull on it so it bent or crack.humm i was planning to put a clear colt on it so it look nice and shinny too is that possible.?
I would leave it flat if I were you, not clear coat it. I don't know though, I've never seen it shiny before. If you want it shiny you could just use satin paint.
As for other questions, search around, I remember a lot of advice about the process in the past.
Here, I saved you the trouble:

There's more, too, search around.
Pretty much any kind paint will work. personally i used flat black engine paint. which is high temperautre paint like 500, worked perfectly fine
is there any paint that is like night pearl black so that its SHIIINNYYY??? i dont like that flat black not shiny stuff
so how did it come out?
just use a "gloss black" instead of a "flat black" and it will be "shiny" like when u wax your car. last wensday 2k2_nbp_egg and i did his a gloss black and i like them alot better than my flat black. i was thinking about going back and throughing a couple of gloss coats on.
nice, could you tell him to post some pics???:)
i used gunmetal paint instead of black :angelm: :winkm:
