$300 Greddy EVO - To buy or not to buy?

So, say I can get a Greddy EVO exhaust for the Si for $300,
shipped? Is this too hot of a deal to pass up?
I'm not big on large exhaust tips (i.e. fart cans, grapefruit shooters,
dog launchers, etc), but at least the EVO is fairly quiet (which I
like). I'm just not too convinced on the performance gains for
the price, especially since I can't seem to find a dyno and the
Magnaflow, which is only $25 more, seems to have a rather nice
dyno chart.
Am I better off with headers (which ones ;) ), a custom midpipe
and the stock muffler (which looks/sounds fine to me)?

Yeah, I'm thinking it's an excellent deal, just not sure if I'd
be better off with a header/midpipe and keep somewhat of a sleeper
look. I guess if I don't want it, I'll pass along the deal to someone else...

Hell for 300 you can't go wrong. I haven't really seen any dynos on it but at least it doesn't sound like an angry bumble bee . The only thing I don't like about the EVO is the HUGE tip on it, but besides that I would jump on the deal.

The EVO is a great exhaust. Very quiet under normal driving conditions, almost like stock, but wakes up at WOT and screams. My team couldnt believe the note that the exhaust made the first time I got on it. They said they'd never heard that kinda growl from a honda before. Definately worth it.

So...I don't think I want this exhaust. There's some other stuff I
need to buy. If anyone wants this exhaust, I think it is still
available. You can PM me and I'll tell you where I found the ad, or
you can just think of another Honda website that focuses on
tech nology. One that has sponsors , much like our own
site. I think the vendor is interested in RPM s and Motoring . HTH.

At WOT the exhaust almost growls, not raspy at all.

I am definitely out of the running (I don't know if it's sold yet
or not, but the seller(s) offered me $290, shipped!, for it the

i have the greddy evo exhaust on my car n it is great its not loud n it looks nice as hell n i also have an aem cold air n the 2 together make a huge difference then stock u can feel it
